1. What is the difference between Listening Skill Practice Book and Auditory Book (Foundation and Pinnacle)?

Largely, the books remain the same. The LSPB has primarily been split into two halves. There are a few additional pages of Small Friends and Big Friends included in the Auditory Book (Foundation). The Auditory Book (Pinnacle) is exactly the same as the second half of the LSPB.

3. Does the teachers need to procure the new Auditory Books?

Teachers do not need to get the new books. Since the questions remain largely the same, there is no practical reason for teachers to carry two separate books.

5. I have some existing kits with LSPB and some new kits with the new Auditory Book. What do I do?

  • Franchisees may send the LSPBs present in the leftover kits back to us if they wish, and we will replace them.
  • Alternatively, they may utilize the existing kits first and then begin using the new kits. However, we must be informed from which student the new kits are being started so that those students receive the Auditory Book (Pinnacle) when they reach Level 4.

2. Why are we splitting the Listening Skill Practice Book into two books - Auditory Book (Foundation and Pinnacle)?

Advantages of This Change
  • Students will no longer need to use the same book for 3 years. After completing the initial levels (Level 1 to 3), they will receive a new book, which keeps the learning experience fresh and ensures the book remains in better condition.
  • Parents will be able to focus only on the relevant sections for the student’s current level during home practice, instead of getting confused or distracted by higher-level questions.
  • The Foundation Book will include more focused practice for Direct, Small Friends, and Big Friends, giving stronger practice where beginners need it the most.

4. What about existing students? Do they need to procure new books as well?

  • Existing students in Level 1 and above already have the LSPB, and this update has no impact on them.
  • Existing students in Level 0 will automatically receive the Auditory Book (Foundation) when they move to Level 1 and Auditory Book (Pinnacle).
